Maria has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2012. Maria has been working with individuals with disabilities in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2005 as well as an additional previous 7 years of experience working with neurotypical children. Maria received her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge (2006), and her M.A. in Educational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach (2009). She completed the certificate program in Applied Behavior Analysis through Florida Technical Institute (2011). She is a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Utah. Maria advocates for services for children with autism within the Legislature. She is the Coalition of Utah ABA Providers (CUAP)'s President for 2024-2026.
